It's pretty bad when Alabama newspapers 'lecture' other people about ncaa violations, but here they come...

I'm glad they're going into this game with so much arrogance. Maybe, just maybe our guys will be mad enough to play well and show the Blazers who's who.

When you can't think of anything to write about the football game, write about the 20 year old death penalty.
WOW this was great journalism. I am so sorry that I wasted my time to read this article.

The death penalty precipitated unnecessary changes in our program which has wrecked our program forever. Because we did not rebound from the DP, we were left out of BCS expansion plans when in years 1960-1986, we were clearly one of the top 5 programs in the SWC (including Arkansas). Certainly ahead of Baylor, TCU, Rice and Houston. Had our program been competitive at that point, Ann Richards might have had a harder time pulling off her Baylor coup and quite frankly Arkansas, ut and a&m, would have had less reason to leave. We now find ourselves in a decent non-BCS conference, that we ought to be able to compete in, week in and week out. It looks like we can't. So our administration better audit itself to see what we're doing wrong.
