I didn't say likely, but still possible. Tulsa was impressive too.

its tempting to dream, but we'd do well to win 3 out of the last 5.

here we go again...we're going bowling! I say we let these guys take 'em one game at a time and hope they can win some more and salvage momentum for recruiting and to give everyone something to look forward to for next year.

ECU looks like they are MUCH improved under Holtz. Let's just hope these guys can come down from this high and find a way to put together a winning streak. Two in a row?

Sober on Sunday

Beating UAB is like a freshman high after your first keg party. Last night we thought we could beat anybody and everybody. Come morning, with only a 2-4 record, it is hard to imagine how we could salvage a winning season from the rest of our schedule. If we win just 3 more games, I will forgive Bennett for his many, many losses. Less than that, then we will have to ask how could we beat TCU and UAB but have a losing season.

I had predicted that we would be 3-3 at this point (so 2-4 isn't too far off) with a final record of 5-6. I'm never pleased with losing but a rcord of 5-6 this year would be ok with me. We can't be satisfied with losing seasons. Much is still yet to be done to fix this model so that losing seasons are unacceptable.

I'm predicting that we need to beat East Carolina, and worry about the rest of the season later.

And while they might not be the best team on the planet, they're extremely fast and athletic, which makes them dangerous. Guys had better be ready to play well Saturday.
