Qualification: I'm not saying CBS Sportsline conducts the most accurate or meaningful poll, but it's one of the only large sports media outlets to rank all 119 Div. 1-A teams. Frankly, I like them better than Sagarin.

Believe it or not, they've ranked SMU just above Tulane at #86. Other notables that we're ranked above include:

Marshall
Pitt
Washington
Arizona
Kentucky
La Tech
Hawaii
ECU (#100)

I am not sure what your point is about Sagarin but SMU just happens to also be #86. And there are similar teams below us:
85 Pittsburgh
86 SMU
87 Air Force
89 Washington State
91 Navy
92 Rutgers
97 Kentucky
99 San Diego State
101 Hawaii
103 Tulane
106 Illinois
108 Syracuse
109 Washington
112 East Carolina
113 Arizona
118 Cincinnati
133 UNLV
138 Rice
147 North Texas

I guess you sort of made my point--I don't really check the Sagarin ratings or follow them since they add in Div. 1-AA teams. :D
