This site sucks-why do you have to enter your e-mail to shop for product?? Maybe I don't want to be barraged with e-mails from the marketing people (like I am now). This thing reaks of Copeland.

I agree, that site is terrible. One of the games they were walking around the Blvd giving out coupons and asked if I had ever been to the site. I let the poor girl know how bad it was, and everything I didn't like about it. This went on for a little while as I had already been enjoying the tailgating for a good amount of time.

Needless to say I don't think she cared for my comments, as she made some wise-@$$ remark about how many they do or something. Anyway, I agree, it sucks.

I agree it could be better. But I'd much rather have it than the alternative(s), which are 1) the crappy old Spirit Shop web site, with 2 or 3 different polos available over the last 4 years, or 2) nothing.

Poor girl...of course, she could've been trained with a script like "thanks for your feedback; we're looking to make it more user friendly and improve things." I guess it's good it wasn't my stepdaughter, who would've said something like, "well, you're right...and back when I was designing the website myself, y'know, before I took this $8 an hour for beer money job talking to old farts looking at my stomach on the blvd...I should've thought better of it"

the email thing is stupid. also - can't say i really like any of the hats either...none of them have lighter material on the top so it doesn't look goofy

Yeah, i was probably venting to the wrong person, but she asked so she felt the wrath. I would have respected her more had she said that she really didn't really want to hear my opinion, she was just being nice.

But I did forget one other thing that drove me crazy, if I type in http://mustanglockerroom.com like I do with most sites, without the www, i get some generic NT 4.0 web page, so they didn't set up the DNS zone correctly for the domain, which burns me up, that looks pretty unprofessional when someone sees that.

There I go venting again. Perhaps I should write a rant to whoever is maintaining that site and tell them how I really feel.

Come on, feelan, she didn't mind your comments. She just thought you were old and got uncomfortable with the way you were leering at her!

believe me, there was a lot better scenery to look at on the blvd than this poor girl. besides, it isn't old, it's experienced (or so I like to tell myself)

why the hell would they be using NT 4 anyway? - just email them your frustration with the email registration, seems silly to me.

Yeah, you go right on believing that. Too bad you don't look boyish and youthful like I do.

good question.

I emailed my rant to the administrator of the site, as well as some folks in the Athletic Department marketing, so we will see if i even get a response.
