SMU goes for two and comes out ahead of the ECU Pirates 27-17. Phil Bennet rejoices by proclaiming, "Much Pirate booty for all!" Nearby parents cover their children's ears.
C'mon SMU, establish a new streak this weekend. Good luck to the team and those going to the game. I'll be in Austin watching my Horns take on Colorado. Should be a good one for both our schools. I'll try to catch the replay on the interweb sometime this weekend.

Jamey Harper gets back on the INT path, and Alvin Nnabuife takes a fumble back for six points. On offense, a coming out party -- finally -- for Ryan Kennedy, who catches 8 balls for 100-plus yards and two (count 'em .... two) touchdowns.
SMU 24
ECU 13

ECU: 38
SMU: 17
Pirates air attack is to potent and wait until your QB meets DE Marcus Hands on passing situations.
Turnovers, special teams, and penalties at the wrong times will decide this game.
Here's to an injury free game.
I do think ECU and SMU have a lot in common on the football field.

I hope that SMU fans learned a long time ago not to bet on SMU games.
BTW go Stros!

If it comes down to special teams I think your prediction is too close.

SMU 60
ECU 9
why not? it's just as realistic as any other post on here.
this is a rediculous thread. if anyone could pick the score, even remotely accurate, they'd be living in vegas in a penthouse year round.

SMU 3
ECU 2
Both teams have 10 missed field goals, SMU does all the scoring we snap the ball over Mentzel's head out of the endzone for ECU's 2 and McMurtray makes a Field goal as time expires to give us a last second win and another homer call for the second straight week.

So you're torturing yourself by posting on it? BTW, it's "ridiculous."
And I have predicted a few scores exactly this season, so yeah, maybe I should move to Vegas.

It's a blowout either way. Both teams seem unsure of themselves. One of them is going to come out of this one with some confidence. The team that gets down on itself gets killed (sort of like the Tulane game, but worse).
I'll say:
SMU 35
ECU 13
