Back from the game

sorry BR, I can empathize with that. A buddy of mine who I graduated with was in town for his first SMU game in 5 years. He was a little excited before the game, but left pretty discouraged. Thats what kills me. People like you who make the effort and then we dont take care of business at home. It was a must-win and once again we didnt. Believe me its as frustrating for us locals to see you out of towners come and go empty handed cuz we know its that much longer before you'll be back.

This game definitely cured my itch to watch some SMU football in person this season. Unfortunately, though, I won't remember this pain when next year rolls around, and those delusions of perhaps, maybe, possibly winning a game will creep into my psyche, and I'll shell out the $500 or so bucks to get back there and watch another game. SMU-ITIS!
