Spread is too much!

I can't believe that the spread has remained so high.

I am as pissed off as anybody on here about our play this year. The fact that we are playing at Tulsa does not scare me in the least. If you think our fans don't show go to that glorified high school stadium up there. I like Tulsa as a school, but I don't think this is going to be a blowout at all. Tulsa may win, but it is going to be by a field goal. Turnovers like usual are the key. Bennett does not know how to win close games (I am aware of UAB) so we go up there, lose, but it will be by 3 points!!!!

Strange that you mention Tulsa's high school stadium. ponylb played high school football there back in the late forties. I have been there 3 times and it was like visiting a well preserved Ownby.

makes you wonder why they kicked our butts in recruiting last year. And I think Bennetts a good recruiter. As usual, I have no idea what to expect tomorrow. I do think Tulsa is a good team this year.

Here's a suggestion: don't have any expectations. That way if the Ponies win you'll be pleasantly surprised, but if they lose you won't be disappointed.

If it makes you feel better, Skelly is getting a face lift. North End Zone building construction began a couple of weeks ago and should be finished by September 2006 (give or take a month). Two additional phases are on the drawing board.

Sometimes a 'Face-lift' isn't enough

LOL! Well, how's about this. We will continue building the new building in the north end zone, followed by phases II and III (lots of projects in those phases), and in the mean time, you all can work on Moody. If you find someone to put up the dough to build you a new basketball arena and start construction, I will go to work finding a location and someone to build us a new football stadium. Deal?
