Anyone know? According to the future football schedules, theres still room for a 12th game in '05.

I know we have Texas Tech, North Texas, Arkansas State, and I believe it is Sam Houston State.
Plus the 9 Conference games. Thats 12 games.

Why the **** are we playing the likes of Ark St and Sam Houston (who the f*** is Sam Houston State?) when we could be playing TCU? Im a student at SMU, and the student body would be a lot more pumped about a road trip to Ft. Worth than a home game against any of those two clowns.

Based on the SMU attendance in the last few games over in FTW, no one from SMU gets pumped about it.

I think it was originally just a conflict in schedules that they either couldn't or didn't try to get resolved. If you want to be pissed, go scream at Copeland and Turner.

Personally..I like winning more than losing to Texas A&M, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech every year.

I think this year could have been much different if it would've been Ok State at Ford that we played the week after the TCU game.

I'm sure that rather than use the 12th game next year to schedule each other during the regular season, we must be planning on meeting in the Ft Worth Bowl next year...ya think?

I agree. But of course we thought playing A&M would be better, even I thought we had a chance at that time last season. But we see where that got us.

we are going to try and win the Mythical Southland Conference Championship next year so all of you can claim how great we are and don't have to deal with reality. Get your tickets early.

Kinda like Tech this year....at least we will be able to feel good about ourselves for a little while, until we face a real opponent, of course with our luck we will get our asses handed to us by the D-1AA teams....

it is just like Tech except they sold out all those games and we will have about 8,000.
