I heard that consideration is being given for another 5 year extension because of the improvement that has been demonstrated and the help such extension will have for our recruiting class this year!

I heard they were also going to give PB a pay raise to truly show recruits that the administration has a %100 commitment to the football program

of course! This is SMU! Reward mediocrity! So sad how far we have fallen and the administration has not a clue, or does not care.
But they obviously do not pay any attention to this board either.

me·di·oc·ri·ty - n 1: ordinariness as a consequence of being average and not outstanding.

Arkpony, you need to find another word to describe SMU....mediocrity isn't it.

FGregg 3 - 19
TRossley 15 - 48 - 3
MCavan 22 - 34
PBennett 8 - 35

Txs PS...silly me, I got the Cavan #'s from SMU's own 2003 Media Guide

I think Rossley had an above average count of ties which aren't
mentioned in your statistics including one against a top ten A$M team.
Cavan coached at least 55 - 1 ( for lights out at San Jose due to a
VERY late Japanese air raid) games. He was here from 97 - 2001.
You need to add about 8 losses to Cavan's record.

FGregg with TRossley as OC, both proven NFL professional coaches,
were the best we've had since DP. We were slowly climbing even with
major setbacks as the death of the SWC, but Copeland knda killed all that
off by firing Rossley.

Get off the contract extension. It was more or less meaningless as some people have been trying to tell you for 10 months.
