Our offense was "multiple" today as Bennett likes to say...we shot ourselves in the foot multiple times. The telegraphed end arounds, the delayed handoffs, the screen pass at the goal line, the penalties are agonizing. Come on, Romo is not doing squat out there. He is a senior and we are not going anywhere. Its past time to play Phillips and let him either play himself into or out of the starting job going into next year.

Tulsa is a decent team. Its just the same old things with us though.

Bennett has made it clear that Romo is the man and I think we can safely assume he will play every down from here on out barring injury. At this point, just please don't burn Willis' redshirt.

I just hope, for the sake of next year, that either Phillips or Willis can throw a deep ball. There were opportunities out there today and they were missed badly. The one reasonably deep ball caught by Foster was so terribly underthrown (after overthrowing a wide open Massey earlier) that Foster practically had to come back for the ball. Those two plays stood out in my mind as sure TDs if the ball is there.

Also, I agree with comments we need to play tougher. Like when we had it 1st and goal from Tulsa's 4 yd line. Why not line up in the I with Mckinney at FB leading Martin. I'd be surprised if Tulsa could have stopped us with 8 in the box. If you must throw, why not also use Kennedy and Chase in a two TE set (big targets) and roll Romo out off the play action fake...instead of lining up in the spread and throwing it out to Warren?? We do play soft...even when we are well matched physically with our opponents...and we were with Tulsa.
