Posted: Sun Oct 23, 2005 8:13 amI am an orange pony who will root for SMU if we even play Texas again. The UT win over Tech proves how much a good QB affects a team. When SMU solves this problem, we might win more games too.
Posted: Sun Oct 23, 2005 10:13 amCareful, jtstang. Having a 2nd team creates its own problems. My wife & 2 stepkids were three of the 92,600 at the game in Baton Rouge last night. We're all happy about how that game turned out. Problem is, just think of the sh*t I'm going to take when I haul my wife up to Dallas for the UTEP game and it's us, the Mustang Band, MM1965, the player's parents, and Dr. Turner and few others.
Perhaps even more sick is that I planned our Thanksgiving holiday travel so that we could be at the game. And we're giving away our tickets to the Arkansas-LSU game. Sad isn't it?
