over USC in just released BCS poll. Pretty surprised but I guess whipping a scoring machine like Tech shorted out the computers. Just wondering would a UT-USC showdown be among the most highly anticipated, and watched National Championships in history.

who knows but they haven't see a Reggie Bush before. That would be interesting. They should have lost to ND anyway.

Deserved, but I'd rather they stayed at 2 for now. Oh well, gives them more to prove.

Yes it would...and the fact that it is played at the Rose Bowl only excites USC alumni more...if you plan to attend this game (and I do) be prepared to open your wallet.

As I stated in an earlier post, I hate UT but truly relish the thought of a UT/USC game. I think it will be a great one to watch. Young vs. Lienart, Bush vs. Charles et al. Great match ups. I hope they each keep up their ends of the deal. Only feel sorry for whomever else may be undefeated although I think this time they have the top 2 right regardless.

Yes, I hate relish. Give me spicy mustard and grilled onions on my brat.

Yeah, I'm honestly surprised to see UT at #1 in the BCS (although it is a nice feeling). I don't think it'll last long, though, seeing as we end with OSU, Baylor, Kansas and aTm. USC has yet to play the tough portion of their schedule. Actually, same goes for most of the undefeateds.
These next few weeks should be interesting.
BTW, sucks to hear about another close loss this weekend. I actually thought SMU could go up and sneak out of Tulsa with a win. I just hope they finish the year strong.

Got to root for K State, Nebraska or Iowa State to come out of the North; that would help. Playing a team for the second time would not. However, that isn't likely to happen this year.

UT will end the season #1. Then UT will get blown out in the Big 2 championship game. Then, as per BcS protocol, UT (as is standard with all Big 2 teams) continues to be overrated and play SC for the national championship. UT will continue the Big 2 tradition (Nebraska, OU) to get blown out in the NC game.

Not exactly LF...USC has already defeated #24 Oregon at Oregon, #14 Arizona State at Arizona and #9 Notre Dame at South Bend.

USC has allowed points in enough games to be behind at the half. The UT defense is better than USC, and that will be the difference maker int he Rose Bowl. Texas may actually be #1 at long last.
