Has anyone seen today's DMN article on UCF? I have some thoughts on the ol' blog. 0-11 to 4-3 with three to four winnable games left. Playing lots of freshman; very few seniors on the roster. Simplified offense.

From the Producers:
Roger: Pardon the pun.
Leo: Pun?
Max: Quiet. He thinks he's witty.
Leo: He's wearing an evening gown.

ewwwww but what if they fumble? and what if they didn't participate in summer 7 on 7 drills. What if they made a penallty. What if they missed a block or a tackle. I think they should have to learn the old fashioned way-sit on their [deleted] on the sideline. Wouldn't it hurt the feelings of the senior quarterbacks. It would never work a team like that could never win more than 2 -3 games. hmmm!!!! Seriously what the hell will it matter in 2006-07 whether we won 2 or 3 games with Tip and Romeo if we don't have an experienced QB.

Phillips will play only if Romo gets hurt in the middle of a game. Phillips will never start.

Phillips redshirted last year. Phillips is not playing this year because Bennett does not want to play him. Draw from that what you wish.

He obviously has some beef with the kid or something. Wouldn't he be a good WR at least?

Up to now, I thought that Bennett just was putting in the QB who gave him the best chance to win. I think that at this point, he might be thinking that he now has some pressure to win a couple more games and to do that, he needs his "best" QB, namely Romo, instead of preparing younger players for next season. I suspect that you'll see a bunch of underclassmen in the UH game.
