Just WHO do YOU people think YOU are complaining about SMU Football? Do you WORK here? I thought so. Quit your whining immediately. There will be NO talk about a new coach until I DECIDE SO. GOT THAT?

"Why do we lose?" (wah, wah) "We need a new coach." (wah, wah) "The administration doesn't get." (wah, wah) "I want to win." (wah, wah) "My pee pee hurts." (wah, wah)

Until YOU want to pony up [pun intended] $2 Million + a year to get a quality coach in here, SHADDUP! Cuz, guess what? No frickin way Dan Reeves or whoever the hell else you whiners want comes here without a frickin gazillion bucks and a wad full of cash to shell out for a few marquis players.

Look, give Bennett a break! He's a GREAT guy, for f$#*'s sake! SMU needs a guy like Coach B to keep up appearances and spirits and convince all those 2 star recruits and quality walk-ons that we're just "that close" to a CHAMPIONSHIP. TRUST ME, OK???

Besides, WINNING ISN'T EVERYTHING, boys and girls! WHO CARES IF WE WIN? You do? Who are YOU? Did you buy SMU a new stadium? Huh? Did you?

Leave me and coach Bennett alone! I'll make an example out of him sooner or later, OK? Just not now. I figure if he stays one more season, I can get another 5-yearer in here and then I can retire.

Dan Reeves??! I used to carpool with his son back when Dan was an Asst. with the Cowgirls. Dan's wife used to drive on the school lawn right up to the door when it was cold so us little darlings would not get cold. I bet he does miss Dallas.
