in case you did not get the news there, the choice of many for the new coach for the Mustangs, Houston Nutt, has just named a true Freshman Quarterback to start this week against South Carolina. This is over the Mortenson kid (redshirt freshman and son of ESPN Editorialist), and a "played baseball, has maturity and a strong arm" kid on the bench. Wasting a redshirt??? Well he does have the top rated QB in the Nation coming next year so I guess this could soften the blow of starting a true Freshman next year which he will be pressured to do. Just for thought.
PS: the QB is Casey [deleted] from Allen if you recall him for our quest.

they are a running team , so that helps too, not making him have many pressure throws in his first game. Their freshman running backs are insane.

Houston Nutt at SMU? Who is stupid enough to think he would come here?
Nebraska and LSU wanted him and he turned those jobs down. He is not going to come here.

I am not saying it is gonna happen, but the theory by some is that Arkansas may fire him and he will have to go somewhere. Why is Nebraska' Solich at Ohio? Why is O'Leary at UCF? Why is Neuheisal seriously considering Temple? Why is Price at UTEP? When you are knocked down a rung, you have to start from a lower rung.

They are a running team for 2 reasons. first they have some great running backs, but secondly, they can not pass because their QB has no type of arm. It will be interesting to see what happens. Reminds me of Lance as far as the situation.

Do not know that he would consider here or not, but he is not the hot commodity he was a couple of years ago.
