Asking what time do you prefer a football game to begin (are they trying to prepare for next season already?)
choices are 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
So far, 7 p.m. has 160 votes (44.3 %), 2 p.m. has 116 votes (32.1 %) and 5 p.m. has 85 votes (23.5 %).
Games played at 7 p.m. in August & September make more sense (cooler temps late in the day/early evening) than games played in October & November when a 2 p.m. kick-off seems more reasonable.

The first time I looked at this poll, the 2 PM time was favored. Then a couple of days later, the 7 PM time was in the lead. I suspect the students favor the 7 PM time and outvoted us. I don't know why they care though, they never show up for the game no matter what time it is played.

HA! There wasn't anything "cool" about the East Carolina game. That was a scorcher - even on the west side - until about the 4th quarter. I kinda like the 8:30 p.m. kick-off - like the TCU game. If we're ever good again we'll be printing "TBA" on OUR schedules - ABC and ESPN will be dictating the kick-off times.

For us with kids playing sports the later the better. So far this year, we have missed two home games.
