The Stangs took advantage of an open date before Rice, now the Ponies get another before Houston. Throw in Houston had a tough road game at Central Florida last week, with a tough S Miss. game this week. One last bonus.......... Houston will play S. Miss. on Sunday at 4:00pm, instead of the normal Saturday game! We have to make the most of these breaks!

On the other hand SMU has had a let down after each win. TCU we followed with the debacle at aTm. UAB with the turnover fest here at home against lowly ECU.

This is no time for the coaches or players to relax but rather to seize the opportunity by the throat.

Hopefully, Coach Bennett puts in as much time studying Houston's offense, as he says he put in on studying how to stop the Rice. Our offense needs a low scoring game to have a chance to win. No matter how bad Rice is, the defense did a wonderful job on Sat.

We must win against either UH or UTEP to take something positive away from this season. It won't be easy, but it a necessity for us to have a building block going into next season with a team that should have a decent core of returning players.

Playing against a UofH team that will be a little tired, and beat up at this point in the season, should be a huge advantage for us. We should once again be rested, healthy, and well prepared for this game. Go Mustangs!

I like all the momentum the Div II 1A Championship has gotten and this is a bit late, but shouldn't that have been Div. 1A II Championship?

either way-The THSCA the governing body refers to Division I and Division II so it results in the double use of the word Division in reference to both Big School/Small School and in reference to NCAA Division 1A. Need to get this straight before I order to Championship T-Shirts I guess

How about Div. 1A-II or Div. 1A Classification II??? Of course more letters increase the cost of printing and thus reduces the profit on your shirts. I'm leaning towards "Div. 1A-II".
