I am prefacing these remarks so please pay attention. I am well aware that if we were in line to get a committment from a high rated player that we should lock them in as soon as possible. I am also aware that we have only a couple of committments that seem to be ok. My thoughts are, is it possible that instead of piling up committments from players who are receiving offers from DivIAA or lower, or from only mid majors, could the coaches be holding the committments in an effort to bring in a lot of JUCOs that could hopefully help immediately? This would be a 180 deg. change for us, but since we signed a few in the past few years, maybe they are going to bring in 10 or 12 this year to patch up our immediate needs. Is it conceivable that this could be happening? We have some decent young skill level redshirts and underclassmen. We have some experienced OL but need more and better. We need a lot of help now at LB and CB and Definitely QB. There could be a method to their madness in that they realize we are not getting the great players out of HS and if the policies are loosening maybe this would work.

Just a little scattershooting on a slow day before a bank holiday.

There will be JUCO's coming to the hilltop this recruiting year.

At least 5 or six that I have been told. Two Oline, a QB and a few on defense. Could it be more.? I would like to see maybe two LBs,s, a DT, DB and a DS. Two Oline a QB Like 8.

We are thin or ships to give out this year.
