Great win over a team that probably never thought you could beat them. You guys have played really well this season and probably should be 6-4 right now. Again, congrats, and go beat UTEP. Who is getting they're butts kicked right now.

why hope for a TCU collapse? I love the fact that they could go 11-1 this year, finish ranked very close to the top 10 and people will talk about their only loss being to SMU.

We should hope TCU sustains their current level of success and that SMU finds a way to surpass them. TCU is the only true rival we have and if SMU can reach TCU's level of play on the gridiron, our annual match-up just might take on more interest outside of the metroplex

Of course, it the frogs earn an invite to the Liberty Bowl against aour champion, I will have to be rootng for that 2nd loss, but I want to see them do well against everyone outside of CUSA.

Beating TCU always gives me great satisfaction - as Charleston Pony said the Horned Frogs are SMU's only true rival.

A strong TCU program makes the annual Iron Skillet game (not scheduled for 2006) especially interesting.

Unless the 2006 season schedules are changed, TCU will have to live with losing to SMU this season for two years.

Go Mustangs!

the fact we don't play in the regular season next year just sets the table for the two teams to meet in the 2006 Ft Worth Bowl

If you like a bowl matchup why not hope both teams go undefeated and face eachother in the First BCS matchup of two non-BCS teams.

Of course we will need to find an offense and fill holes in the defense for that to happen.
