Get inside the stadium early and stay late.
Stand up and make some damn noise!!
It CAN make a difference and these players deserve it.

We need everyone possible to turn out. A lot of folks will be out of town, of course, but we really need a good showing here.
Beat UTEP!

UTEP will have a good turnout. My guess is they will have more than 5,000 and that will result in a crowd near 8-10,000 total...provided the weather cooperates

Unfortunately the enthusiasm of this board does not infect many of the students, Dallas alumni and the football public. I am always optimistic but I would be surprised if a large crowd shows up. Of course us regulars who sit out under the sky can make some noise. I sit behind the bench and I can tell the players appreciate it.

Raise some hell?
If you cheer at a SMU game, people look at you weird

For the first time, I actually noticed it at the Rice game.
I brought my Lobo helmet shaker to the game and well people didn't seem to enjoy me shaking it....

I surely as hell will this Saturday.
I wanna see a win. And if making noise atleast makes me feel better about the game I sure as hell will do it if people like it or not.

Who cares if people look at you weirdly? It's a football game, not a soiree. Fans are supposed to yell and cheer. And the louder the better.
Beat the he!! out of UTEP!

...here's an idea...why don't we all freakin' SIT TOGETHER!! I was at a recent game, and for example, there was Stallion sitting ALL ALONE, nobody near him, watching the game....I am sure others do the same things...why don't we get some rah rah guy, sort of like the 11 o'clock service at church, move in, move over, one big bunched up group, and then make some noise!! But four guys in section 109, a few in section 212, 17 in section 412, all yelling, just gets lost in the "space". Long Live Red McLain.....see you guys at the game, I will be yelling, wearing my SMU garb, etc.....flask.

What types of noise makers are prohbited at Ford?
Also, what if a big crowd gathered above and around the ramp where they come out, and shout out encouragement to individual players?
