All-conference Team CUSA

Posted: Mon Nov 21, 2005 11:37 amSturdivant has to be a slam-dunk first teamer. Haywood should be, but might get squeezed out (although all of his good games have come against CUSA opponents). And McMurtray is in a class by himself, at least among CUSA kickers. Is it too late to nominate him for the Groze Award

Posted: Mon Nov 21, 2005 5:53 pmSturdivant, Haywood and McMurtray have to be on the first team. You know who's quietly done an excellent job this year (but won't get all-conference)? Darrin Johnson. He's vastly improved over last year -- in large part, I'm sure, because he's finally healthy.
