A message from Athletic Marketing to our supporters...

First off, thank you to everyone that has supported Coach Bennett and the Mustangs during the 2005 season. The coaches, players and administration appreciate all of you that have season tickets and come to games.

This is a personal request to all Mustang supporters out there to please help us fill the stands with red and blue on Saturday. I know that many of you will be out of town for the holidays, but I would ask you to e-mail or call any friends that you might have and let them know about our 10 GA tickets for $10 deal. It is an Internet-only deal available on smumustangs.com.

We have an amazing group of seniors who will be playing for the last time at Ford Stadium. Please come to the stadium early and help us salute these fine young men. They are excellent ambassadors for your school, and they have worked tirelessly to put this program in the direction that we all want to go.

Again, on behalf of the Athletic Marketing Department I thank you for your involvement... Best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving... and a win over UTEP!

GO MUSTANGS!

The whole family -- including cousins -- will be there!

(And we already have tickets, but that does sound like a great deal.)

Cheapskate! As a season ticket holder, I paid $100 for 4 tickets. So, that is called supporting the whole athletic department. The 10 for $10 sounds like a deal to get as many people there for the game as they can. So bring your inlaws and outlaws and anyone else you can think of and divide the $60 by total number by tickets and then you will be happy with your savings.

...not a "cheapskate", as you say, PK...just a good steward of my hard earned $$$$...maybe that's why I HAVE $$$! Long Live Lamar Hunt, and his 1983 Benz....got to love that!

And I am sure your $50 tickets are not in the endzone, which is where the 10 for $10 are located.

Sit on the 50 yd. line for a $. There'll be plenty of seats available. You just need to be able to get through the gate.

Well, its $10 for 10 tickets PLUS a $7.00 "Package Order Charge"...so its really 10 tickets for $17.

To each his own, I have two season tickets to both FB and BB but my wife rarely goes. I have always looked at this as a worthwhile donation in support of the athletic program as is my Mustang Club donation.

I don't realize why people [deleted] about ticket prices and/or try to get around paying full price. I'm a young alum donate my $50 to the Mustang Club. I buy seats on the sideline, not in the endzone and just move like some of the cheap bastards around here. I'm not rolling in dough, I'm just starting my career for crying out loud, but I realize that the money is going towards the school and the athletic dept. Instead of trying to "get your $40 back" consider it a donation or a pretty cheap 3 hours for the family. Or if that doesn't satisfy you, realize that they are trying to run a business, just like Neiman's, Tom Thumb, etc. None of those businesses will refund the difference if you come back after the fact and they are running a special.
