I know most people do go over to the Other Sports section so I thought I would post it here.
SMU rolls #5 UCLA 3-0 in California tonight to move to the 3rd round of the NCAA Tournament.
2 Down, 4 To Go.

It is..if you read the post, you would see that I said a lot of people don't go over there so I thought I would post it here so they would know.

After a few days in Dallas, the Mustangs get back on the road and head to Greensboro, N.C. to face the Spartans (16-5-1) who tied 12th-seed Virginia Tech Tuesday night, 0-0, but advanced on a 4-3 shootout advantage. The game is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 27. Time of the contest is yet to be determined.

That is fantastic. Thanks for the news. We lost to them in 2-0 at UCLA in 1985 in the NCAA quarter finals, when they won the national championship . Pay back is sweet even if it takes 20 years.

My Dad went to Cal in the 60's.... they had a nice rivalry with UCLA... and what was that song they used to sing... (I can never remember) ... (ah yes! How could I forget?) ...

The reason no one goes to the Other Sports section is that no one cares. This belongs in Other Sports.
