Southern Methodist University fired head football coach Tom Rossley. The Mustangs won two straight games to end the season, but it wasn't enough to push them over the .500 mark, as they finished the year at 5-6.

Do a little research and you can determine that we're not one-in-the-same.

Nov. 25, 1915 SMU loses to Trinity (0-21), Nov 25, 1926 SMU beats TCU (14-13), Nov 25, 1933 SMU loses to Baylor (7-13). Of special note, SMU lost to Centenary the week prior to the Baylor lose. Moving right along, Nov 25, 1939 SMU beats Baylor (21-0), Nov. 25, 1944; SMU beats the Sand Aggies (7-6). My point is that of all the events in SMU football history that occurred on Nov 25, the firing of a coach that never had a winning season is one of many events. Why is there such devoted idol worship to Rosely?

Beside, firing Hayden Fry was actually doppier.

Yup, I have.

65 gave me a basketball season ticket he wasn't going to use last year in
his mail box in N. Dallas. I didn't actually meet him, but over the
telephone his voice sounded like a televison news person. From
previous posts, he is known to be a former spokes person for the
Houston Police Dept.

I'm pretty much certain that 35 is a Longview High student who wants to
attend SMU after graduating from LHS like myself a few more years than
I want to admit ago. Pretty sure I saw his family vehicle with both
Longview, and SMU decals attached during the 04 HS playoffs at
Longview vs. N. Garland. He ID'ed it as theirs afterwards. See his
Longview Lobos football link on his posts :!:
