....ship!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get out in this great fall weather. Cloudy and Overcast-What a better way to spend a Fall Afternoon as the great Chris Schenckel used to say. Reminds me of the other great Shootouts in my lifetime like the 1969 Texas-Arkansas game and the 1970 Nebraska-Oklahoma games. I wonder if anybody that went to those games wished they had stayed home to stay dry. Don't be a loser for your ENTIRE LIFE. Ford 2:00 p.m. Championship Awards Ceremony and the presentation of the William P. Clements Texas Division 1A-II Championship Trophy at 5:30 p.m.

darn I was looking forward to hot, wet college co-eds with moist clothing clinging to their nubile, young bodies-but hey if you would rather stay home and wait for the next 9 months of female figure skating-I guess that's just the kinda guy you are!!!!!!

I hope you guys realize that by joining Stallion in mocking SMU football in this thread you are lowering yourself to his level.
Why mock SMU on a day of gridiron victory?
SMU finished 5-6, but is significantly improved...
* SMU beat (now 8-3) UTEP
* SMU lost by 5 to a Baylor team with 2 victories in Big 12 Conf. games
* SMU beat the MWC (TCU) Champions
* SMU Lost at Marshall by 3 in OT
* SMU finished the season with a 3 game winning streak
* SMU Lost by 7 at Tulsa the CUSA West Champion
* SMU finished 4-4 in CUSA games
* SMU won 4 of its last 6 games (includes loss to CUSA West Champion)
* SMU won 3 of 5 games against former SWC teams

who is mocking SMU? The FACT is that we beat EVERY non-BCS school in Texas that we played. That's an accomplishment to be proud of. Just playing the hand we've been dealt.
