for giving us a great finish to 2005 and hope for the future of SMU football. Sorry you guys couldn't have experienced a bowl game. I've got a feeling SMU is not far from returning to the post season

Can't agree with you more -- this senior class was a pleasure to watch (and, from my standpoint, to interview, as well). Jerad Romo said after the game that the team treated this game like it was our bowl game. I'd say they handled pretty well!
And, speaking of seniors: Good to see Rico Harris tattoo that UTEP ball-carrier in the last couple of minutes -- I wasn't sure he'd get up. Alvin Nnabuife's interception was outstanding, but how about D.D. Lee's pick? He went up there and hauled it in ONE-HANDED (with the same arm he snapped last year). He had some drops early in his career -- what a way to finish up!

Nnabuife started slow this year, but he's been terrific the last few weeks.
Thanks for everything you've given the program, seniors!

Darn right -- Lee, Humphrey, Keischnick, Harris, Harper and the rest of the seniors should be planning their holidays around a bowl game. Thank you for all your hard work at SMU, and we look forward to seeing you in the stands at next year's games.

Ditto on everything said above.
Congratulations on beating UTEP in the SMU Seniors Bowl.
