Duh, our soccer Mustangs are definitely not a "European football team". Our style of play is Western Hemisphere, a little U.S. and a lot of Latino influence. The U.S. National Team is currently ranked number 8 in the world but have been ranked recently as high as 6th. Americans stand on their own. Our soccer team is a Texas football team and is proud of it. With that said, it would be great to win out for the weekend in football, basketball and soccer. That is what being a great University with a great athletic program is all about.
