I am cannot express in words how frustrated i was @ burns after the first half..

put a bloody fullback in and run it up the middle when you are on the one yard line.. or do a PA up the middle and have kennedy cut block his guy and then get up and sprint the corner of the endzone

why the hell we not put a fullback in when we were on the goaline.. i just don't get it.. the shotgun draw and off tackle is too slow to do on the goaline..

I did however like the sweep w/ fitzgerald.. use his speed to get to the corner

that was my reaction as well. anytime we have a 1st and goal inside the 10 yd line, I 'd like to see us line up in the I with McKinney leading Martin, but that was a thing of beauty watching Fitzgerald run to the corner as everyone on the right side sealed the deal with great blocks

or that you can throw the ball to your tight ends as well.

Damn nice tightrope by Kennedy at the end, huh?
Get him the ball in '06!

I suspect that the play on the 1 yard line where Kennedy was called for a false start was probably going to be a play action pass play to Kennedy in the endzone, because when he jumped, he wasn't aiming at anyone on the defensive line to block.

I don't know. But I do remember thinking that it could have cost us the game -- we got a field goal instead of a touchdown, and they marched down and got the field goal right back. That was a seven-point penalty.

How nice is it that we won the game so convincingly that nobody even brought it up until the next day?
