Well, I've been off the net for a long time but I've continued to follow SMU and it appears that the program is *finally* on the upswing! Hopefully PB doesn't go and we continue it into next season!

Thanks for the welcome...Of course we need Coach Bennett to stay here (anyone know what KSU fans might be saying about him?), but if KSU comes knocking at the door with more money, can we expect to be able to compete with their offer to keep him? Moreover, can we expect Copeland to try?

Hopefully you are right...from my 5 minutes of reading on gopowercat.com, it seems the KSU fans are set on the South Florida coach right now...

well it doesnt really matter what the fans want....its what the men who pay the AD's salary want....and the committee.....honestly, it doesnt matter what coach coaches next year at smu..if the players play with their hearts and are determined to win they will win....a so, so coach can win games as long as he has players that are willing sacrafice and want to win.......but time will tell...
