I'm new to this website but have been a mustang fan for many years. My question I pose to you all is this. What can we expect from SMU football next year. Is D. Martin the real thing at running back? I remember S. CHarles a few years ago with a great freshman year only to be never heard of again. Who will our QB be? I have heard of some nice recruits but I did as well a few years back about Eckert. Lastly, can we expect much improvement in the wins category. As easily as we won some of those close games we could have lost as well.

Scroll down and read the "look at 2006" thread. You will see that we are going to go 11-1 or 12-0 next year so all we need to know is which BCS game we will play.

Shanderrick Charles got hurt, otherwise he would have had a great career. Barring injury, Demyron Martin will have a great career you can bank on that. He is the real deal, but a much different type back than Charles was.

Shanderrick had what is called a career ending injury (broke a vertibrae). That's why he was never heard from again. Again, barring a major injury Martin could very well end up in a ton of record books at SMU. To dream: Doak, Eric, Kyle, Craig, and DeMyron.

Hey, don't forget the M&Ms, Maxson and Morris.
