WHICH REDSHIRTS WILL SEE THE FIELD NEXT SEASON? I HAVEN'T BEEN TO ANY OF THE PRACTICES, AND I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT ANY OF THEM. IS THERE A CHANCE THAT ANY OF THEM WILL BE A REAL IMPACT FOR US?

Most likely impact will be at WR. Keep your eye on Joseph Ferguson. He isn't a RS frosh, he is a transfer from NW, and was recruited by a handful of big 10 schools was pretty well reguarded. Sanders is also highly regarded and reportedly looks great in practice.
The other interesting RS to watch would be Enright and Allison on the OL. I think we are moving to a point in the program where you shouldn't compete on the OL until you are a sophomore, but both those guys were pretty highly regarded coming out of HS.
CB could be interesting as well, where Lindley, Settle, and Haynes will all compete for a spot. Settle is really athletic, Lindley has the size, and Haynes has the speed.
I don't think we will see anyone new at QB, RB, DL, LB, or saftey. If we do, it means JUCOs didn't come through (QB, LB, Saftey) or we have a lot of injuries and we are in trouble.

Oh, and I almost forgot - the kicking situation will be one of the biggest things to watch in the Spring.

I am not sure what your point is here unless you are making a general comment about the position as Lindly will be a Junior and Haynes a Soph.

What about Todd Alexander? After losing DD Lee, Alvin Nnabuife, Rico Harris, Clayton Cox, Avery Cleveland and Curtiss Powell, he'd better be ready to contribute.

Isn't he not arriving until next semester? So he is young, inexperienced, and not familiar with the system... I think if we don't find a JUCO, we are in a lot of trouble at LB...

My understanding is that he arrives in January. And while he didn't work out with the team, of course, I heard he did watch some workouts through the fence. Hopefully he spent the entire season lifting and getting 100 percent healthy.

Those 2 hits by Lindley on Spec Teams (v. UTEP) brought me out of my seat

I wonder if the OTHER #21 (Higgins) knows where he is yet?
