This game seems a bit familiar..

SMU beats UTEP 40-27, who only needed one win to win the CUSA West.
La Tech beats Fresno 40-28, who only needed one win to win a share of the WAC Title.

How many MORE times do you think the announcers could have said "Pat Hill's main goal is to win a BCS bowl first, and on the way to that he'll in the WAC...that's his mentality". They must have said that about 48 times throughout the first half alone. By the way, noticed that as much as they talked about that, and yes I know Fresno is good, they only have a share of ONE WAC title and I think that was shared with TCU and UTEP in 1999.

They also talked about the WAC teams that came to CUSA, pointing out that Tulsa and UTEP were contending for the western division title. Graphic showed SMU, Rice, Tulsa, and UTEP records for the year, and they said "And SMU had a pretty good year as well". Hey, at least someone beyond ponyfans.com is noticing.

Same old Fresno State. They rumble through the schedule until about week 8, lose a heartbreaker, and then the roof caves in.

From what I've seen in the national media, lots of folks outside this wonderful website have noticed. Hope the recruits saw it, too.
