Good luck Coach Bennett from your K-State family. I'm sure SMU will have a ton of purple clad fans, including me, from now on.

We welcome all of coach Bennett's loyal fans and hope you come to our games when you can and enjoy the rejuvinated SMU Mustangs he is going to put on the field. We all know it is not going to be easy to turn this boat around, but I think Bennett is the right guy to do it and I think we have the potential with the kids we have right now to have a very good season. So go Mustangs!!! Give it that 110% and enjoy the results!!!

Coach Bennett, please instill the 'spirit of the Mustangs' in this team by invoking the names of Doak Walker, Kyle Rote, Forrest Gregg, Don Meredith, Jerry Levias, Chuck Hixson, Mike Livingston, Craig James and Eric Dickerson (and all the other greats whom I don't have room to list!) This team can etch its own mark on the SMU legend!

I'm another Cat fan who is now a 'Stang fan because of Coach Bennett. I really believe you guys made a great hire. Coach Bennett is an outstanding man, he's also a very good coach.

I think he will get your program back to a very high level, I hope he does.
