It is hilarious that the Cotton Bowl did not take LSU after reading that DMN story. Apparently, Les Miles and the LSU AD flew to Dallas before the SEC Championship game to meet with Cotton Bowl officials saying that if they lost the SEC Championship they wanted to play in the Cotton Bowl.

Yep, Go Horns, Frogs, Cougs, Miners, Red Raiders and every other Texas team that got in a bowl!
C'mon, you can't say that Tech's demolishing of Cal didn't put a smile on your face last year...

Yes I can. I don't like The Leach, and never will. Frankly, before he pulled his act at SMU, I wouldn't have cared who won their bowl game with Tech, or if it ended in a tie, or if the cheerleaders switched places with the offensive linemen. But I will always root against The Leach, and Tech is now on the list of teams I will root against 99 percent of the time. I expect Tech will make it a good game, but deep down, I hope 'Bama embarrasses the Red Raiders.

Tech/Bama could prove to be a better game than most might expect. Tech's strenght this year (as always) is their offense and 'Bama's strength has definitely been their defense. It's the other matchup that should determine the outcome - will 'Bama be able to move the ball against TTU's much-improved defense? Should be a good one to watch.
BTW, if the Texas is the anti-christ, does that make aTm our lord and savior?

The only question is what is better for SMU to beat a TT team coming off a big win in the Cotton Bowl or to recruit against on that was embarrassed there?

Just having a bit of fun anyway and that fact did not escape me. But thanks for pointing it out.
So, this means you think it is best if Tech wins the CB?
