Is it possible to get Jeff Bowden as O.C. since he was recently fired from Florida State? Would we want him? Just wondering.

Where did you see that?
I saw a note the other day from Bobby B., in which he vigorously defended Junior's performance and position on the staff, saying the negativity was coming from the media (of course).

If that is the case, you think expectations are high at FSU? Go to a BSC bowl and fire your OC.

not to mention firing your son. With all his clout there, hard to believe Papa Bowden would do that.

If the past is any indication, if Papa Bowden did that, he will get no meals from Mama Bowden. Mama defends her boys.

if j bowden is fired im sure his dad will get him a job at a top college...i actually coached under him at FSU as a SC and and assist with the running backs....jb is a nice guy but man when he loses his cool he allows it to effect his coaching..not sure he could handle smu, the recruiting ristrictions,,,and the athletic bs he would have to deal with at smu......but doesnt matter cause his dad will land him a good job somewhere....
stay low boys...keep those feet moving....be perfect.........

That's true. When FSU played Clemson, she used "we" to refer to the 'Noles, and "they" to refer to Clemson, but even Bobby B would be treading on thin ice if he canned her son. I don't see it happening.
