If you could order jerseys of former Mustangs, WITHOUT including any of our all-time all-timers (no Eric Dickersons, no Doak Walkers, no Forrest Greggs, etc.), who would you order?

As a post-DP Pony, I'd go for:

Chris Bordano
Austin Adami
John Hampton
Byron Bonds
Vic Viloria
Luke Johnson
Oscar Rosales
Chase Schavrda
Keylon Kincade
Luke Johnson
and
Keith Chiles

I'd be happy with a Shanderrick Charles jersey for the "woulda been" factor and the number 11 for Kevin Aldridge/Cory Muse

Bordano. The prototypical tough nosed linebacker.

Jim Dugan, Louie Kelcher, Chuck Hixon, Putt Choate, Mark Rydel, Kyle Rote, Fred Benners, Jerry Norton, Jerry Clem, Happy Nelson, Arther Whittington, D.K. Perry, John Simmons, Don Mudd, Joe Bays would be a few I would consider.

Thanks Ponyte. I will order yours. My practice jersey (since injury kept me off the playing field) was #37 (game jersey was #39), so I imagine mine will be in demand by several. Get your order in early.

Absolutely -- I'd order that today.

LeVias' #23 would probably be an "all time all timer", but the just previous #23 John Roderick track star converted to receiver sunk the #2 ranked Navy led by Roger Staubach in 63 almost single handedly.

I listened to the game on the radio with my Dad in Longview to a Dallas station fading in, and out. I think Roderick got his running yards on a newer updated 1963 version of the OLDER Statue of Liberty play. Did Hayden Fry actually invent the "end around" play?

Roderick helped out a little in Mr.Mustang65's favorite victory in the 1965 homecoming game against UT. See below.
