don't quite know how to feel about Copeland finally getting on the road. if he does go, and we hire a new AD, it's not like there is any good reason for a new AD to keep Bennett. It's one thing for a new AD to keep on a winning coach like Patterson at TCU when Hydeman left a couple years ago.
Please don't read this the wrong way and think i don't support Phil - i've been a fan of his since he got here. i'm just posing the obvious fact that new generals want to command thier own soldiers. could be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Not only do we have the cart before the horse but we do not even have a horse yet. Let's see what Copeland does before we replace Bennett. He still has 2 years on his contract and he is weighing his decision. There is a lot of Copeland to weigh.

I am a Bennett fan and not so much on Copeland. Phil can only do so much, it is the ad's job to help the couch out with the school.

Hey, you are the one who has an entire thread dedicated to them. I admit I am jealous.

i'm not in favor of replacing bennett, but rather concerned about what a new AD would do, b/c in most cases, they want to make their mark - typically by making new hires.

I understand. I just wonder if we are reading too much into what Copeland said.
