Is Gilmore a SR? Roster has him as a JR.

Yeah, I think he's a senior. His jersey was hanging up there with the other graduating seniors.

Kudos to all the award winners, but how was Adrian Haywood not among the defensive MVPs?

how did DeMyron Martin not get the Offensive MVP which is truly a great mystery to me.

I thought about that one, too, Stallion. Maybe it was a deal where they figure he'll have three more years to win it?
Just a guess.

Too bad this awards ceremony was held at the same time as the SMU v Rice basketball game. I've seen some of the football players at games this season. Sure would have been nice to have them in the stands last Saturday night to remind the Owl-faithful of their football loss, too!

Actually, the award ceremony was before the game -- I went to both (and the season highlight video, complete with Rich Phillips' awesome call of the Romo-to-Chase game-winning TD at UAB) was the best I've seen in ages).

I also saw a bunch of players at the basketball game, more than usual, in fact. Bryce Hudman was front and center in the student section. Saw a bunch of them sitting up behind the basket on the west end of the court, too (although personally, I would love to see the entire football team -- 90 strong --turn out for each of the remaining games.)
