i would love it if an SMU alum ended up winning and making him actually fetch beer and food for guests. He is most likely expecting to just show up and hang out. make him do what he says he'll do.

Wow, biddings up to $4,202. It would have to be one huge Super Bowl party.

I think it would be funny if you won and it was just you and him the whole time, recounting stories from the glory days at the hilltop.

Better yet if it was you, him, COpeland, Turner and Bennett.......that might make for an interesting Super Bowl party

I think Jackie Sherrill is currently the leading bidder at $5,100 - which coincidently is less than he tried to pay for him in 1977.

But I am sure that some SMU alum will come in at the last minute with a better offer . . .

I would love to have Dickerson at my party. Not to talk about SMU's glory days, to hear NFL stories or so my buddies would think I am cool for haning him at my party. My sole purpose would be to try and humiliate him as much as I possibly could to make him feel just an ounce of what he does to SMU every time he is on the radio or TV.

I have many times heard of famous alumni who do nothing for their school. That is pretty bad, but to go out of your way to trash it every chance you get is ridiculous. What an ungratefull person Dickerson is and I wish nothing more than for SMU to return to prominiance leaving him and his self absorbed glory in the past.

(Sorry for the rant, just can't stand hearing all the negative things about our school from this SOB)

It was actually a Trans-Am, not a Firebird. Bit of a difference.

Yeah, one's a firebird with stickers on it.

Stickers and a bigger engine. Otherwise, JT is correct, Trans Am was basically just the high-performance options package on the Firebird.

Bottom line: it was a Trans Am, not a Firebird. NEXT!
