It looks to me, looking at Rivals that the 2003 Class and the 2005 Class were PB's two best classes.

Instead of just comparing the numbers, compare what the offers were, and I think that you will find, on average, that this class isn't too far off.

Very few of them say they were offered by the other schools. Those are simply the other schools that the recruit was interested in.

As I have said before, for the next few years, I want at least one three-star recruit for every victory. We came up three short. I was grossly disapointed with the lack of a JUCO QB. Unlike some of you, this QB situation scares me to death.

Why is everyone so down on our QB situation? Willis was a great signing last year. Let me assure you he did not get worse in his redshirt year. I have heard he has a very strong grasp of the offense already and anyone who saw him play in highschool knows he has great physical ability. Ya, he isn't 6'5 but you know what? Our program is not at the point where we will land a 6'5 220 pound 5 star QB savior. Willis is a damn good player and will prove a lot of peoples worries to be unfounded. I feel like everyone would be ecstatic if we had landed a 3 star QB this year and everyone seems to forget we landed that guy last year. Lets not forget, Willis isn't exactly replacing Don Merideth or even Ramon Flannigan here. He will be just fine and lead SMU to our first bowl game in 20+ years.

Wasn't (isn't) he 6'8"? When he was drafted, he was called "sack-proof." But he couldn't play the position at the NFL level.
