TULSA:
After perusing Tulsa's list I gained some respect for the pure talent and speed at WR that I was not previously aware of. See below
WR/CB Dominque Crawford 5-9, 170- won the Texas 3A State 100 AND 200 Meters as a FRESHMAN. Been clocked at 10.6 in 100 Meters and 6.8 in the 60 Meters. Averaged over 14 yards per carry as part-time RB with over 800 yards rushing. Totaled a huge 130 tackles at Safety as a Senior.
QB Clark Harrell (6-2, 190) looks like he hit on almost 70% of his passes-no calculator with 323 completions on 464 passes for 3,924 yards and 39 TDs. Led Texas Class 4A in Passing. Remember he missed his Junior year
with an injury.
WR Corey Kizer (6-2, 210) (JUCO) Ranked as No. 27 WR by Rivals. Won Tennessee State 200 Meters(21.3) and 400 Meters in HS. In Juco caught 48 passes for 876 yards 8 TDs last year and 28 for 512 yards 7 TDs as freshman. Also very productive in HS with 90 catches for 1779 yards and 23 TDs as Senior and Junior.
WR Daniel Morrell (6-1, 186) - 130 receptions for 2, 112 yards and 25 TDs and 187 tackles, 5 INts on Oklahoma HS. Won the State Class 4A 100 Meters as Junior.
WR Dion Toliver 5-10, 160 JUCO- 35 catches for 480 yards and 2 TDs as JUCO Soph and 19 catches for 293 yards as Freshman. In HS had 132 catches for 2,112 yards and 21 TDs and 149 career tackles and 10 Ints.
Lordy those are some gaudy Receiver stats and a great group of sprinters-perhaps I didn't give Tulsa enough credit for additions to their passing game.
