Tuesday? Well, nat'l tv is nat'l tv.
And we play eight weeks straight. I guess you could say nine, because we play that Tuesday.
Yup .... although we do have 10 days on either side of that game, so hopefully that will help. "It’s hard to overstate how impressive SMU has been on the recruiting trail since the ACC announced the Mustangs would be joining the league”

That Tuesday game is also Halloween. That will be tough on those with kids, but hey we can't complain about national tv.
Halloween...everyone deck out in costume and party hard in the stands. All sorts of possibilities. Next day's Sports Headline...SMU gives UAB a scary Halloween. All Tricks and NO Treats.
![]() BTW, everyone is so hyper these days about kids going trick or treating. Hand out treats at the stadium...provide a prize for best costume...one for kids and one for adults. Man the possibilities are awesome.

An excellent idea. maybe do some sort of thing with kids like let kids in free with a costume. they could make a haunted house on the practice field or something. gotta sell...gotta sell!
Good ideas. Maybe deck out the "Mustang Stables" in Halloween decorations?
Yeah, get the students or at least the freshmen involved in some kind of contest with the award or prize to be given out at the end of the game (that way they have to stay for the whole game).
Oh I fear disaster unless somebody gets off their collective asses to publicize. Even for the rabid fan its hard to turn down a kid who has his own idea of what he wants to do on Halloween. Plus SMU College kids going to a Football Game instead of a Party? And to top things off the starting time of 6:30 on a Work Day in a game off Central is going to be brutal.
They might be up for showing everyone on National TV that they know how to throw a stadium party. You are right...got to publicize!
