The Collin County edition of the Dallas Morning News this past Sunday (Feb 12, 2006 - Page 3B) had a picture of a "Sherwood Blount" at the dedication of the new "Russell Creek YMCA" in Plano, Texas.

I posted something about Sherwood Blount the other day, but then I wondered: can we get in trouble for talking about him?
I must admit one of his quotations back in the early 80s has served as somewhat of an inspiration; that is, when he said "I can spend my money however I damn well please."
Disclaimer: I draw the line at all the bad stuff done by Mr. Blount to get SMU in trouble.

What a character. He'll probably keel over someday from all that chalk he ingested.
