Anyone else notice that The Daily Campus article about Janielle Dodd was written by Chris Phillips?

No but I did just get a call from Cory Muse thanking me for increasing my donation to the Mustang Club

I did notice that. Hope to see more Phillips contributions linked up here on PonyFans. Good job, Chris.

Phillips will hopefully be contributing a weekly column once spring ball starts. We haven't hashed out the details yet, but its in the works.

No. Just making sure it is feasible and not somehow against athletic department regs.

They don't seem to want him to play so hopefully they will let him write.

I hope he's allowed to do it. Could make for some interesting reading.
Good idea, DC sportsguys.

Hopefully all the typing and such wont hurt his shoulder.

I think it's great if he does this. I think it would be a great addition to the DC to get athletes from a lot of teams writing in. Not reporting on their own games, of course, but if the hopscotch team gets to compete in a tournament in South Dakota, that's a trip most of never have made (or will make) -- and sharing those experiences might be pretty cool. Similarly, I am a huge SMU football fan and I go to as many games as I can, including the Red/Blue game and even the occasional practice, but I have no idea what it's like to go through spring ball as a player. I hope Chris is given approval to do this -- could be very interesting.
