In Bruce Feldman's blog on ESPN he names Richuel as the #9 workout freak in all of college football.

Apparently, Adrian Peterson can hold an 80-pound dumbbell in each hand and make a standing jump to the top of a 36-inch wooden box.

That is a good skill to have.

I can do that if I am jumping from a 48 inch high table.

I've always been a Massey fan. Having seen him play in high school, I think he's got a lot of talent and a hell of a lot of heart. Here's hoping he puts together a season that gets him some national pub for his work on the field - whether it's running the ball, blocking for Martin or something else - not just in the weight room.

I just wish he would contribute on the field in some small way. Maybe add 50 pounds on him and turn him into a Jerry Ball starter kit.

I'd be pretty happy with another Jerry Ball.

Last year Richuel dropped about 15 pounds, to increase quickness. Anyone know if he's added any of the bulk back on his frame? Or is he about the same?

Personally, I'd like to see him become a clone of that fullback at West Virginia, Owen Schmitt -- pump him up to 240 or 250 and let him just clobber people as a blocking back extrairdinaire.

I like the mental picture you create, Life, but isn't that Andrew McKinney's role (at least once in a while)?
