Anyone care to go on record on who will be the starting QB?

My guess is Willis.
We'll find out in August, I assume.

My guess is Willis then Slater then Willis for a Half followed by Johnson then Slater and Phillips in mop-up duty whereupon Willis will transfer and Slater will break a leg, Johnson will be caught after hours in the Kappa House leaving the job for Phillips who will end the season with a 3 game winning streak prompting Bennett to say we liked chris all along. And what did they call it? the potent SMU offense-is that anything like the offense that finished dead last in Total Offense in CUSA.

No, I think this will be the year that Bennett makes the right smart/risky choice and it works. Just a gut feeling, cause he has tried every other option to figure out who the starter should be.

Unbelievable.
The question was "Anyone care to go on record on who will be the starting QB?"
That's it -- who the starting QB will be. Not everything on this planet has to be laden with negativity and complaining.

I thought it was damn funny. QB is one place Bennett has me scratching my head. It needs to be Phillips unless Willis knocks their socks off in workouts. You can always replace Phillips with a freshman if you need to later in the season, you can't go the other way without damaging both guys perhaps beyond repair.

Stallion's post was classic. The rock star reference in the picture was pretty darn funny too. I guess since its a foregone conclusion that he's bailed on the idea of Phillips as a college QB, I'd prefer to see Willis thrown in the fire as a sophomore and left to fend for himself to toughen him up for Jr and Sr years.

Or would he be a redshirt frosh? Whatever, sink or swim, son, sink or swim...

Gallows humor is all we have left at this school, and if you don't think Stallion's post was damn funny, then I really don't know how to help you.

I think Willis is going to come out of this spring/summer with the job in hand. When comparing Slater and Willis, think the wheels separates the two.

I am sure that if somebody besides Stallion would have thrown out that classic bit of ponyfans.com humor then they would be hailed as a genius and not a bitter curmudgeon.
All I know is I was LMAO.

I just don't want to see flip flop quarterback each week. Make a decision and stick with it.

I'll always be a Phillips fan/supporter, but my guess is that Willis is the starting QB for the opener.

Anyone want to hazard a guess how closely the new AD will be watching things in this area?
