Has been major contributor to Irish success the last two seasons...consitent and dependable, he has a knack for gaining the tough yardage up the middle...the sixth leading ground gainer last season with 159 yards on 33 carries...carried 16 times for 75 yards against navy...caught two passes for 23 yards in that same game...also finished sixth in rushing in 1975 with 95 yards on 28 carries...won a Hering Award his freshman year as the most improved freshman back...lettered 8 times in football, basketball, and baseball, captaining the football squad his senior year at Lowe Dauphin High School...rushed for 315 yards in his last high school game...his father and brother played football at Penn State and another brother competed at Temple University...an honor student enrolled in the College of Business Administration.
