Kudos to Daily Campus

...and their new star reporter Chris Phillips. Another new article with some interesting revelations about Damon Hurst, Phil Bennett's view on JUCO transfers, players frustration with SMU's transfer policies and possible changes in SMU transfer policies. I'm getting more information on SMU football this spring from the Daily Campus than I am from just about any source. Interesting that this is the first known public comment on possible changes to SMU's transfer policies. Wonder if it was authorized? Discussing academic issues have been taboo it seems for 17 years. We've ragged on the Daily Campus for so long but Phillips is offering a lot of interesting insights.

i hate the words "Kudos"

but i do agree - CP is a great read, and it proves to recruits that we can actually produce journalism majors...

I hate kudos because my mom was mean and would not let me have twinkies or ding dongs - she bought the crappy Kudos bars.

Maybe if Chris had focused more on football and conditioning, he would be our starting QB......

So now you don't want him to go to class at all? He's studying Journalism -- writing articles is what they do.

Stallion, you're on target with Chris. The quality of the writing and insight is refreshing. I was actually surprised the Daily Campus did it. Besides, it gets Ponyfans pumped up. Thanks, Chris
