DeMyron and the NFL
Posted: Sun Apr 09, 2006 9:54 pmI'm starting to get worried DeMyron Martin might leave SMU for the NFL after next season (when he is eligible).
Do you think Coach Bennett will hold him back and not give him as much time to try to make sure he is around for four full seasons?
As brilliant and exciting as Martin is, I would hate to see him leave early - especially since in 2 years SMU will be on the verge of cracking the Top 10 and hopefully be in BCS contention.
I fully expect us to be close to cracking the Top 25 this season and to start 2007 in the preseason Top 25. I think DeMyron Martin is the key to SMU making a BCS push in 2008. I hope he doesn't leave.
