My guess would be FoxSW, as the a$m game was last year. Someone on the TTech board posted the ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU fball schedule for the year, and our game vs. them wasn't on there.
If it is FoxSW, look out for an 11am kickoff.
FWIW, there's not a whole lot of hotel room space left in Lubbock that weekend. We made reservations last night, and went with my 3rd choice.

A couple months ago, somebody posted on here that the Tech game was going to be moved to Sunday 9/3 for an ESPN broadcast. Then about three days later, the athletic dept. came out with the UAB TV info, but no mention of the TT game, so it appears that was a false alarm. Would've been nice. On second thought, the way we play in Lubbock, maybe it's better not to have that particular game broadcast nationally.

Tech as the home team controls TV rights so it wouldn't necessarily come out at the same time as the CUSA package.

Comfort Suites on S Loop 289 is a decent hotel, at a reasonable price. About 2-3 miles from campus. I don't know if it's full yet or not.

Wow. That would be so cool if it is on ESPN2! Imagine the ripples throughout the country when SMU whips Tech 52-17 on national TV!!!!!!

We were in Lubbock this past weekend. Stayed at the La Quinta on the Brownfield Highway - which is being torn up to build the new Marsha Sharp Highway - and made our reservations for the weekend of the SMU v TT game. It's a nice hotel. This weekend we paid about $100 a night. Rates in September will be about $30-40 more.

What sin did you commit that made you spend a weekend in Lubbuck?

My oldest stepdaughter is a senior at TT. We went up there to spend Easter with her.
